The investors typically start off with a entry fee amount of Kshs 5,000. Upon success, the investors will then continue to top up your entry fee amounts.




Is entry fee refundable?


The entry fee is a one-time fee that is non-refundable. If you get into a supermarket and buy soap, you exchange the soap with money. When you get home, you do not go back to the supermarket to claim your money back by returning the soap. Our business operates with the same principle. Our credit facility ensures that you recover the entry fee within the first 13 weeks through the commissions. For the remaining life of the account, you are then operating with profits. For example, if you put up a entry fee amount of Kshs 5,000, earning Kshs 400 per week, it means that you will recover the amount in 13 weeks. The other benefit is that the entry fee allows you to operate for upto 5 years without requiring the need for a top up. Additionally, if you no longer wish to run the Pesa Pata platform, the accounts may be transferred to another individual.

How do I access loans from PesaPata?


To access a loan from PesaPata you need to download the PesaPata app on Google Play Store. You are then required to complete the registration process after which you can place your loan request through the "Borrow" option and receive the funds after successful loan evaluation and credit limit assignment.




How do I repay my PesaPata loan?


To make a repayment, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to MPesa in your Safaricom menu on your phone
2. Select Lipa na M-PESA
3. Choose the Paybill option
4. Enter the Paybill number 315055
5. For account number, enter your MPesa number on which you received your PesaPata loan
6. Enter your repayment amount
7. Enter your M-PESA pin
8. Confirm that all details are correct and press ‘OK’.

To be a lender on the PesaPata platform, you are required to deposit a minimum investment of Kes. 2,500 only which will serve as the principal amount on loans disbursed to borrowers. Once you download the app on Google Play Store and complete the registration process, on choosing the " Lend" option you will be prompted to fund your mobile wallet by deposting the minimum investment amount.




How do I fund my mobile PesaPata wallet?


To fund your mobile PesaPata wallet with your desired investment amount; 1. Navigate to MPesa in your Safaricom menu on your phone 2. Select Lipa na M-PESA 3. Choose the Paybill option 4. Enter the Paybill number 315055 5. For account number, enter your MPESA number on which you registered on the PesaPata platform 6. Enter your desired investment amount 7. Enter your M-PESA pin 8. Confirm that all details are correct and press ‘OK’. Alternatively, you can also; 1. Go to the Home Page and choose the " wallet balance" option. 2. Choose the " Deposit" option to make your deposit. 3. Accept the transaction by taping the "tick" button. 4. Enter your service PIN (this is different from your MPESA PIN. If forgotten, follow the MPESA guide displayed to reset and set your preferred PIN). 5. Once completed the funds reflect on your wallet balance and you can then begin lending to borrowers.
